No, seriously. I’m clueless. But since you’re here, let me introduce myself.
My name is Tonya and I’m a blessed wife of 23 years, mom of three beautiful {adopted} children, and {former} Pastor’s wife living with a recent diagnosis of Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease. My journey through infertility, parenting, full time ministry and a life-changing health diagnosis hasn’t been easy but it’s been a beautiful one. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing my God work in and through even the most difficult trials over and over again and that has made my journey worthwhile.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28
If you’re wondering what you can expect from this new blog, fantastic! I’m wondering the same thing. Perhaps we’ll discover the answer together. I hope to be an encouragement to women navigating difficult seasons and doing the hard things, and to share my experiences with an authenticity that will point people to a Jesus worth knowing.
Whatever form this adventure takes- I hope you and I leave here reminded that it’s okay to just lean on Jesus… especially when your balance is questionable. ⚓
